Where did the texture templates go for V4 Base and other products?
It used to be that on the product page there was a link to download the texture template for the product.
For example V4 Base ( https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-base ). Yes found the templates for G2F/M and G3F in starter essentials.
Looked on the product page and in the product library without any luck.
If it is no longer available, then what are the EASY steps to generating a texture template using Daz Studio, Hexagon, Carrara, Blender, and/or GIMP?

Here you go...
The older figures (Generation 4) 'official' guides were these to begin with. The DAZ hosting of them seems to be hosed...and has been for a while.

Thanks mjc, you are no grinch to me :-)
It is REALLY disappointing that Daz could not be bothered to update the zz-name product documentation and add the seams guides to the product libraries.
Yeah I think I'm paying about $90 a year to keep that webspace and ancient site up, it would be nice if DAZ could at least mirror the guides in case something happens on my end. I do have plenty of cloud space (don't we all now?), but I like keeping them all together and not having to use HTML to make a page.
Thanks for providing the link Mjc. :)
SnowSultan, I didn't realise you hosted that website on your own - that should habe been DAZ business, really. But many thanks!
I can start hosting them as well if that's OK?
You're welcome, I'm glad they can continue to be useful. :)

I appreciate that nDelphi and thank you very much, but I would rather keep them all in my space so I can update or add to them whenever I need to. I don't really mind paying to keep them hosted here (I would do it anyway to keep my domain name), I just wish DAZ would put the guides back on their product pages so new users don't have to hunt around for them.
SnowSultan thanks for caring enough to do this for the community. If you are missing any seam guides let me know or anything else that was previously freely available. I have every file/document I ever downloaded since 1995 in my archive drives. I was just TOO lazy to go and find the V4 seam guides and wondered where they had gone.
It really is disappointing that the NEW Daz cares so little about its legacy and does not update all the product documentation and put those template files in the product library. They could hire a few students or temps for a summer to do the work and it wouldn't cost that much. Shows the dollar is mightier than the sentiment.
SnowSultan, I wish to thank you personally for keeping the guides up. It's great to have such a great resource in you.
Thank you hjake and Badbeagle, I'm glad I can still do something that helps the community.
I don't really put much blame on DAZ, there could be reasons behind their not uploading the templates other than laziness or being cheap. All of the templates that used to be available disappeared after a very large store update...and I know I wouldn't want to attempt to go back and add links to things hardly anyone uses on tens of thousands of product pages.
Also, more and more people are using 3d painting programs like Substance Painter, Mari, Quixel, and even within Photoshop itself, so guides aren't as necessary as they used to be. I know this because I've been lazy too...I never made guides for the Genesis 3 Male and no one has asked for them since he came out.
Nowadays I'm more interested in trying to stream tutorials and tips that can be useful to more people. I'll always be ready to make a new seam guide if DAZ wants one made, but we might be getting to the point where instructions on how to get DAZ stuff into and back out of a 3D painting program would be far more useful.
Thanks again, I appreciate it!
