Sandy Bay Seaside Village Beach Help

Hi All

I'm working on a render using the fabulous Sandy Bay Seaside Village and am having a bit of an issue.  The scene is along the sidewalk beside the beach.  I'm using the included lighting (an Uber one for the Sun, and another which is a fill (I'm not in front of my machine where I can check this right now)).  In my test renders I'm running into the issue where everythign looks pretty good, but the sand on the beach is totally washed out.  I've tried turning the 'Sun' intensity down and the fill light up, and the other way, Sun up and fill down, but neither one seems to change the washed out sand.

I'm at a loss on how to deal with this.  I'm not sure if I can select the sand surface and change it (not even sure what I would do to it, but I did pick up a beach shader pack on sale), or what my options really are.

Any suggestions?

I've never had this issue myself, and I've done quite a few renders using Sandy Bay. One suggestion I do have is to ensure you have gamma correction set on the render. It can fix a lot of blowout issues you might have.

I'll definitely check that.  Any suggestions on possible settings for it?  I don't remember it simply being an on/off switch.

Thanks for the tip.  I love this scene ... it's so full of potential!   You can do dozens of shots in it and never see the same thing twice!  Of course, once I figured out to scale my people to 70% it really took off.  haha   cool
