New Content Catalog Program?

I have a vauge recollection of recently seeing a new program that would make a catalog of item's in your product library, grabbing the promo pics of them...
I can't find this searching here, searching the forum, googling, at Rendo..nothing..
Did I imagine this?
(Basically the problem I have is..over the years, I've pretty much indiscriminitly clicked on every freebie offered...I have NO IDEA what all I have in my product library. The other day I was looking for something in the store and when I clicked on it, it said I had purchased it already...which made me think...I really need to know what I have in there. So, if there's a simple way to just scan thru a bunch of pictures to know what I have, that would be great.)

Are you referring to Winterbrose's Content Cataloger Easy? http://www.daz3d.com/content-cataloger-easy-ccez-for-windows-daz-studio-edition

This? It's for windows though, no Mac version.

YES! I'm 90% sure that was what I saw (with the pocket watch!).
Thanks! Nice to know I'm not crazy(er)
Ok..I see the Winterbrose software does not do what I want, but looks like your stuff might be the answer.
It doesn't say explicityly, but this logs into your account and does it's thing?
(no Mac version isn't an issue..any Mac user who finds that as a stumbling block ins't much of a Mac user :) )
Yea, I know it's fairly easy to run Windows apps on a Mac, but there are still Mac users who complain there's no Mac version. :)
And yes, the program logs in to your account and download your product history, as well as product data and pictures, so you can browse everything offline.
Well, it didn't like my Wine bottle, which runs daz exe installers fine, but it seems to run well in Parallels.
First time I ran it, it kept popping up a "tmpPage" not found error. I tried to "Download History", but intered my password wrong and it opened the daz web page on the right side and went into an infinite failed login loop.
I quit the program, opened it, did the "set browser compatibility"..told me to run as admin, did it, set browser, restarted it..and right now it's downloading my product library in a very nice organized way.
Glad you got it working. I know from another Mac user that it also runs fine in CrossOver which is Wine based so it does work with Wine, sort of.
I'm aware of the loop thing, it happens ocassionally under certain circumstances. Clicking the Download History button will usually stop it. It's a bit complex to fix so it will have to wait until I'm finished with the new Rendo version, people are pestering me to get it done so I have to focus on that right now. :)
Let me know if you run into other problems.
Yeah, my Wine Bottle is set up to be a very lightweight "run installers" package...I might not have even given it Explorer.
A Rendo one would be cool..my script developer and I just worked up a Perl code that will take in Rendo #'s and grab the promos, so it involve a bit more set up than just jog into your account. i was thinking of trying to make it work with Daz.com, but Daz doesn't have a uniform..and easily put in process, url format.
The inbuilt browser is an IE clone, so you got to have some version of IE (9 or higher) installed to make it work, as well as the .NET 3.5 framework.
The Rendo version is basically a batch downloader for product files, I wrote one a few years ago but it broke seriously when they changed their store setup last year so I decided to rewrite it completely, this time with more features like getting product data and promo pics as well. There will probably be two versions, a plain download manager released soon and then a version with the extra features released later.
Getting the promo data at Rendo is probably a bit of a challenge though (haven't got to that yet so I can't say how serious it is) because it's not as standardized as with DAZ, it's for a great part the vendors that decide which info is incluced and which is not, and there's tons of broken image links, missing images and data etc..
As for the DAZ store, you can get the product pages using the product SKU:

BTW, if you haven't already, check you Sporty Pigtails thread, I posted a screenshot showing how you get to the morphs.
On Rendo..yeah..we weren't able to figure out how to dl the promos on the Editorial tab, which a number of big time vendors like ShanaSoulmate use.
Thanks for that URL format. That's handy to know.
Yeah, saw that.. haven't gone back to try that hair after I went a different direction.. Just got too frustrated with that one :)
You can get to the image links via the DOM if you can open the Editorial tab using code. Looks like you need some javascripting to do that.
Hmmm since this is all Perl/Command line stuff, it's pretty much just using curl.
For now, it writes to a log file for any thing that doesn't have the lightbox pictures, for manual checking later. I could miss out on one's that have both lightbox and editorial tab, but really, this is all for my compulsive need to catalog what I have in sorted folders that I can peruse using Adobe Bridge or the Mac's Cover View, so missing some samples I can live with.

and a year and half later, it still works! woo!
