Viewport showing contrasts

I recently brought a set that, when uppoaded onto a scene shows the contrasts of lighting making it rather hard to see what's what. Even checking the Preview Lights don't affect them. Someone help?

    Textured veiwport.

    It's okay. After experimentation, I realised that using scene lights were the best way to light up the scene ...
