nVidia card memory speed

For strictly rendering, does DDR3 or DDR5 memory make much difference? The machines I have planned for some mid-level cards will only do rendering.

    Some but not as much as it does for gaming.  Amount and number of CUDA cores are the more important for rendering features.

    Thanks. Thought as much. The cost difference for these cards is only about $30 more. I'm setting up a classroom of 5 to 10 workstations, so the budget doesn't allow for the very high-end cards. From my tests, and the benchmark scene thread, these should reduce render times 50-60% for most scenes.
