Created DSON Companion Files; all worked but one. WHY?

I converted Eldritch Seeker to Poser because I really wanted the outfit.
But the only part of it that I really wanted was the trench coat...
and it doesn't work.
It ...sort of works but it has these very long things stretching to the cieling.
I don't know how to fix it
Also when I loaded it it said
'do you want to add an extra frame to complete the animation?
yes.
close this dialogue'
it dind't even give me a choice?

I even tried reloading the save and it's still there.

I know you aren't supposed to bump but I really need an answer to this question...
Look in Daz Studio at the groups, Poser doesn't like it if polys are not assigned to groups, select them and assign them to the relevant bodypart. You can ignore the dialogue, just means there's some frame info left after creating a KeyedERC in DS. :)
I'm not sure what you mean.
What do I need to apply to where?
edit:
I don't even know HOW to look at 'groups'
I never use DAZ.
You have to be specific
Hi - I'm in the middle of a deadline so I don't have time to do a step by step right now, and my interface is fairly customised so would look quite different from what you're seeing. I can however point you in the right direction on where to learn more about the Geometry Editor Tool in Daz Studio and how to assign faces to groups - its a pretty cool tool once you learn more about it :)

I'm speculating about the cause of the spikes, since I don't own the coat I can't check to make sure that's the cause - but from previous outfits I converted usually the culprit is unassigned polys. You can also try to match endpoints on the outfit in poser and see if that helps any.
