Help with making clothes - arms/legs issue

Hi I've been learning how to make clothes for DAZ everything fits... But when I lift arms or open legs this happens (see attached) the mesh completely tear and deform weirdly. 

I'm thinking is a weight issue problem but I'm not sure if that's the issue or what else and especially how to solve it. I used the weight transfer method from daz figure to the object converted in OBJ. Any help please? Thanks

  • Yes, you need to use the Node Weight Map Brush tool to smooth and adjust the weight maps in those areas, which are always tricky for the auto-projection to handle as there are a lot of nearby parts from which weights may be projected. You will also need to create morphs to match the joint correction morphs on the figure.
