Resuming Iray render after program is closed?

I'm wondering if there's a way to resume after I've exited out of Daz. I know you can pause and resume while the program is running, however I'd like to exit out, then come back later to resume.
If this makes sense.

...unfortunately, only an external render engine like Realty/Lux, Octane, or the standalone 3DL (which runs the render process externally from the Daz application) will allow both the Daz programme and scene being rendered to be closed down after the process is launched as all the texture, geometry, and lighting information has already been uploaded to the render engine.
Iray (like 3DL) requires the application and scene to remain open throughout the process as it is an integrated part of the main application.
I was hoping for the ablity to just stop everything, including the render, have the program "Bookmark" where it was in the progress of the render, and resume when the program was re-opened and told to resume last render. I wasn't expecting anything like Lux because that is a stand alone engine, where as Iray is intergrated into Daz.
However it was just a glimmer of hope and figured I ask anyway, as I realise something like this would be difficult to program. Maybe one day. I don't want anyone to misunderstand Im not greatful for any kind of resume function. I love they added that in.
Ah well.
