Okay, the new forum is online. I don´t have the time now to read through the official thread and look up if my questions are already answered.
All the linklists are now worthless? Or will there be a second step and this will be recovered?
Those who have collected the few gemstones in this forum, have to go through everything and update their linklists? Really?
How do we link a single post in a 50 pages discussion now?
Sorry, but I´m a bit disapointed ...
Edit: Figured out how to link a single post. But I´m still disapointed, cause every single Link I have saved gives a >Page Not Found< message...

Agreed. Every single forum link has been made invalid by this. Subscriptions no longer seem to work. Fonts are all over the place size-wise. It's another "Could Do Better" for the multi-billion dollar DAZ Corp.
I don't know about the lists...BUT, if the links are like in a single post, and IF the numbers are the same, just a few words in the url are different (I think I saw that in another post) then copying the list, pasting to a text editor, find/replace, and paste back in will fix that.
They are working on getting old links auto-forwarded
Great, seeing that they were no more working I deleted all of them
.
All right, a big breath and all remember that we have to suffer in order to keep all those poor web developers hired.
... excellent, so this will be fixed soon?
Three years of collecting useful forum posts lost from one day to the other.
Not trying to be offensive and I´m not angry ... Whenever the questions about a manual for DAZ Studio was raised, people got responses about the DAZ Forum and the active community. I am just shaking my head in disbelief, because somehow this is ridiculous.
was just told in another thread, I mean DISCUSSION that you replace viewthread with discussion in url
If you are using firefox, you can try an addon called "Redirector" as a temporary solution. I used 2 simple rules:
and:
And it works at least for google searches.
They said they would be testing today and maybe tomorrow.
We might see it this weekend. :)
Thank you, exactly what I´m talking about. Somewhere buried in a discussion, that already has more than 240 comments.
At least the helpful people are stil there.
Thanks everyone for the heads up and the workarounds. I will try soon. :-P
