Bedding sheets and covers?

Hi All,
Saw this product today: "Beyond Bedding" (SKU:19379)
It states that its simply a "shaders set". But I noticed in the sample images (#2), the image that I've included below. It shows a sheet or blanket that lays loosely and wrinkled over the figure. Fairly natural looking. I'm looking for this type of fabric prop. One that can be form-fitted to a posed figure like that, regardless of the posed position. As in, I pose the figure how I want her, and then be able to drape the sheet/fabric to fit nicely to the pose whatever the pose is. I purchased "Wondersheetz" but it essentially only fits the fabrics to the particular set of poses that come with the Wondersheetz set. Which is nice, but very limiting. Does anyone reconize this prop? Or can you point me towards such a prop?
Thanks.

- Sol

This is a big reason I decided to purchase the dynamic cloth control and sheet.

It's ... tricky to use, but nothing else I've seen comes close.

The product used for the sheets shown is Jepe's - he has a few sheet type products here in the store.

Thanks for the suggestion. But having trouble finding that title as you list it "Dynamic Cloth and Control Sheets". Is it no longer sold?
I found "Dynamic Sheets" SKU: 11406. Which looks like it might do what I'my looking for based on the included short video. But it looks like an older product and not much info on the product page. "Dynamic Cloth" and "Dynamic Cloth Control" come up in the search window when typing, but nothing turns in the search results. Do you have a SKU for what product(s) you have?
    Thanks

Yeah, I looked through Jepe's stuff and they all seem to be like the Wondersheetz for G3 that I purchased. They either hang as a backdrop. Or they only conform to his set of included poses. So yeah, they look great if you use one of those poses, but unless you got a specific use for one of those poses, not very useful otherwise. (IMHO)
Interesting that the "Male Dynamic Sheets" and pose set isn't available for the female. All the Male poses are actually in bed. That makes senses. Where as the Female poses are mostly all standing poses. So those sheet poses for the male, I assume are specific to the male only, like Jepe's other Sheetz sets.
If anyone knows if those sheet poses work with the G2 and G3 females, that be nice to know. (I'm not purchasing them to find out.)

I think what was referred to as "Dynamic Clothing Control and Sheet" is actually "Dynamic Clothing Control" and "Dynamic Sheets," specifically:

    - http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-sheets

That might be what you're looking for, but I don't have the Dynamic Sheets product, so I can't comment on that. I might buy that this morning with the coupon sale and all, actually.

As for the Jepe products, I *believe* those are conforming (non-dynamic) - so you pose the person, then you pose the sheet. As such, the sheet "poses" are designed for the male figure, not female. Again, this is just speculation, as I don't have the product. Maybe somebody else could comment better on this.

Thanks, that's what I see too. As mentioned, I did purchase the ”Wondersheets for G3” and they are limited to those poses only.
They look great with those poses. But only those poses.

    Yes, spiderland has it.

I believe you can use Optitex dynamic stuff even without paying for the clothing control widget. There's a bunch of freebies here: http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload01.php

Age isn't a big deal... the clothing will start reasonably posed if you use it with V4, but with later characters there are ways around this. For one thing, you can use a V4 clone or standin to start the shape of the cloth, but have it only drape based on your actual figure. For another, there are animated drapes (I forget if this is available with free control), where you start the character in a T pose, adjust the clothes to mostly intersect right, then have it 'animate drape' to your final position.

    Here are examples:
4 armed figure (bra is conforming, but other clothes are dynamic):

Old lady wearing dynamic outfit, face in the wall is covered by a dynamic sheet textured with a lot of translucence:

Yes, a basic dynamic clothing plugin is included in DS.
The Control plugin gives you more parameters to control how your clothes will drape, like the ability to control wind and gravity, or adjust resistance, friction... depending on what kind of cloth this is (silk would drape differently than denim, for example).

Okay I purchased Dynamic Sheets this morning and it probably does the job you want.

Pose your figure in a lying down position (or however you want), then position the sheet over the figure, then drape.

You probably won't get the elaborate folds as with the original picture, but it should be pretty natural.

As an FYI, Oskarson has a similar product to Jepe's, but it is conforming as well, not dynamic: http://www.daz3d.com/sleeping-late-for-victoria-6

The thing I like about the dynamic sheet is that it can be anything from bedding to cobwebs to membranes, depending on texture.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, much appreciated.
I did go ahead and purchase the "Dynamic Sheets". And it seems to be very workable to what I'm looking for.
If any other suggestions come up, I'd love to here about those too. But this definitely gets me going. Thanks!

I have not got the poseable sheets but adding smoothing and collisions should help adapt male poses to female with them.
I am thrilled to learn in another thread dynamic cloth can be morphed too, this should help with sheets in animation for me as it can give starting poses and cannot wait to try it out.
