Night Bar is WOW!

There are some few products which I buy immediately in spite of the fact I should be a lttle bit more cautious with my monthly budget... Night Bar http://www.daz3d.com/night-bar is such a product - and a demonstration what is possible with IRAY rendering - it's a milestone towards realism.

When i first opened the scene it looked rather disappointing; I searched a bit for a lighting preset - but of course it's all in the material settings itself. Press CTRL+R and you see it's like in the promo pics... Nice place; I wish I would be there (with some nice company :) )...

But of course it's a very complex rendering - I assembled a new computer when IRAY appeared in DAZ and have a GTX980 card - my first "Night Bar" scene looks like it will take three hours - i guess it would take days with CPU rendering. But at least if you own the hardware - big recommendation!

It is a very nice set, and was an instant buy for me.

I would like to know where the city background images in some of the promos come from.

Yeah, once it went in my cart I couldn't find it in my heart to remove it.

Yes, Night Lounge is amazing. It's a fantastic example of what can be achieved in 3Delight with the right lighting.

Looks great, and about to download it. However, the readme file for that sku is a placeholder for Hunter Queen Textures . . .

Looks impressive! One question, is there a door somewhere? Just wondering how the people get in and out...

Nevertheless, it really does look pretty great.

No doors as such, though there are 3 "openings" which could indicate a way to get in and out. Unless they use the TARDIS lol.

What is the rendertime in 3delight for the bar? I admit I am curious. It looks nice.

Here is a test render. Interior is fairly dark, like lots of real bars. I think this was around 3.5 hours CPU only render.

There are no 3Delight materials. This appears to be an Iray only set.
