Resetting x,y,z posing axes

How do I reset the x,y,z axes after I pose a character? After posing, the axes are off their horizontal and vertical so when I rotate the character, it spins into the floor.

You need to think about posing slightly differently, do not rotate the main figure at all, instead rotate the first bone down the hierarchy, usually the 'Hip' bone which should rotate the main figure but leave those root axis in their normal orientation.

Hope that helps, now I'm afraid I have to go to work (6:40am here in the UK) so if that does not make sense put it down to me only being partially awake and I'll check back later.

You can sometimes use the Coordinate system options in Tool Settings, assuming this is DAZ Studio (which you don't specify).

Yes, I'm using Daz 4.8. I did change to universal\ coordinates world axis in tool settings and that did work. However the axis 0,0,0 location is 6 feet away from her body. Also, how do I save the pose so the next time I use it, the pose will default to the normal 0,0,0 axis position for the character?

Obviously I'm doing something incorrectly when posing. I do start with rotating the hip and go from there. That's when I find that the axis rotation for the character is equal to the hip. However, when I use a purchased pose, the axes are always facing the normal, 0,0,0, regardless of hip position. I figured that there was a reset for the axis so when something is rotated or moved the axis can be adjusted?

Thanks for all the help! I like DAZ and find it superior to other products and just need some questions answered.

You have moved the figure using the hip, rather than the figure node, so the model is a long way from the figure's origin. You are going to want at least y translation here, to place her on the ground, but select the hop (in the Scene pane) and use that to place her back where the figure origin is, then when you save deselect the figure in the options dialogue and select the hip to get all the bones.
