Changing render background

Hello!

I would like to ask how I can set the default checkerboard background in the Render window to a color, for example to white.
I did not find where to change that.

    Click on window tabs, panes then enviroment tab, on the left a blank box appear, click on dropdown menu, choose background.. hope this helps
