Why are aniMate products listed as compatible with Poser?

They aren't compatible with Poser, there are no animated pose files included.  That is rather misleading, as aniMate itself requires DAZ to install.  The pose packs should not list Poser as compatible software.

    At one time there was, I think, a Poser plug-in to load AniMate files - but I can't see it now so I will ask about the compatibility.

    Ah, in fact the Poser importer does still exist https://www.daz3d.com/aniblock-importer-for-poser though we are not sure if it works with the curent Poser builds or not.

    Any idea which version of Poser was the target?

    I just got the Aniblock Importer for Poser. It works with Poser 11. (But Poser updated their Python scripts after that, so I doubt it works with 12 or 13.)
