Before I forget here come two easy DS light setups (nothing special) that I use for the promo images.
One is specific for when dealing with very light LAMH fur (sp polar bear/cub, arctic fox and all those situations where you don't want too much ambient occlusion); the other is a standard set. Cheers

Cool! Thanks for the lights! I totally am having a blast with your foxes... I did one iwth raccoon, i'll try to post them soon! They are so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!! :D
I just bought this because the Daz Dog fox is too memory-intensive. I didn't notice there's no Iray logo on it. How can I render the fur properly...?
You might find THIS THREAD useful - basically for an Iray render you need to either use the Catalyzer presets (for which you need the Catalyzer product) or use the LAMH presets and export the fur to a .obj file, which may be enormous and put a memory strain on your system.
So all I need to do is buy this https://www.daz3d.com/lamh-2-iray-catalyzer and I can render normally in Iray? And it won't be affected by Daz phasing out 3Delight, right?
Well, that will work for future versions of Daz Studio 4.24.xx - but Catalyzer is a plug-in and may not work in the next major version DS2025 - I have not heard whether Alessandro is planning to update it or not. I am NO expert on this - maybe Alessandro or RichardH could chip in here?
By the way, with Catalyzer you don't exactly "render normally in Iray" - you have to use the Render button on the Catalyzer pane.
Okay, thank you. Yesterday I tried lowering the material settings for FOX in DAZ DOG, but it was still difficult to render. AM is my last resort. Once I succeed, I will definitely buy more.
