How to use Gen 8.1 clothing on Gen 8?

Is there a way to use gen 8.1 items on a gen 8? I do not see any converters and the built in autofit doesnt have a selector for 8.1 either.

Just cancel the AutoFit dialogue - as far as fitting goes the figures are the same (though Hierarchcial materials presets may not work, unless you apply them with the outfit parented to Genesis 8.1)
