Well, not always. Sometimes you get what you pay for. There were a few times in my life when I almost would have paid to not eat the free food!

After ragging on "Avengers: Age of Ultron" a few hours ago, I went to see "Mad Max: Fury Road" this afternoon. WOW, it starts at full speed and never quits. :cheese: So I guess there are some things that will keep my inner 13 year old's imagination entertained.

    Road Warrior movie?

...actually just got off the chat line with them and was able to get an extension through Wednesday. Most likely the cheque will come wither tomorrow or Monday. Won't be able to deposit it until Monday anyway, so Wednesday gives enough time for it to process through so I won't get one of those nasty overdraft fees.

Net access should be free or at least very inexpensive like it is in some places elsewhere.

...c'mon Megabucks Lotto, then I can retire (draw tomorrow evening).

..thanks, Crikey A Caturday without being able to post cat pictures would just be so wrong.

...well guess I could from the cafe down the street, but it would cost me 4.50$ for a bagel and tea to use their Wi-Fi.

    The whole Mad Max franchise
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Max_(franchise)
fascinated me. Other apocalyptic movies not so much. But in the Mad Max movies I cared for the handful of characters in each film that were worth surviving while unspeakable madness and death went on around them.

I think the Mad Max movies display a spark of humanity and survival spirit even in some of the near hopeless dregs. Whereas, the Avengers movies are just uber beings in clown suits saving the pathetic powerless "normals" in ever more unbelievable ways.

Feel livelier today, enough energy to do Sunday stuff anyhow. Is weird how I wasn't that tired but once I started sleeping I couldn't stop. Maybe some kind of Rip Van Winkle effect. But it doesn't seem to be 40 years in the further today as far as I can tell. How would I tell anyhow ?
