Is there a way a way to set objects to memory..?

Okay this is going to sound weird but I have two major positions for my light helper which is for standard standing renders, and lower to the ground renders.
I have all of the parameter numbers written down on notepad and I copy and paste them when I need to but it's very annoying doing this all the time.
I move the light helper at the end, before every render, because it's usually set up high and it's hard to see the figure's expressions and stuff.
So I was wondering if I could have it memorize a location that I could set it to.
I saw something like 'create new master parameter'
If I 'set a master parameter' will it create a dial that moves it where I need it to?
Then I could save that scene and have it already loaded like I want it...

Just save it as a new light preset.

But it's not a light preset...
It's an object that lights attach to

Like a null that helps you aim the light? Can you save it as a smart prop of the light?

I don't know what you mean by this, but this is the product:
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/i13-pro-lights-and-light-helpers/90109

It is a sphere that you move and the lights are attached to it
I don't know what you mean by smart object.
I just want to be able to move it to one place instantly without having to copy and paste the paremeters I use everytime into the X Y Z dials
