Is the Wedge Cut no more? Looking for a G1/G2 version...

DAZ's search engine seems to be on the fritz. It won't show me any links to that classic DAZ hair, The Wedge Cut. There was a time when it was the de facto hair for M3. I was looking to see if there was a Genesis 1 or 2 version. Anyone have better Search Fu than me?
Thanks!

If the hair was from M3 then it was probably vaulted and no longer in the store.
I still get the link for the 2.0 Version from my product page:

you have to serarch it as one word for the search engine on the store to find it its WedgeCut.
Ah, cool! Thanks, Vhardamis!
Anyone out there know if there have been Genesis 1 or 2 conversions for the WedgeCut hair? Or maybe a WedgeCut 3.0?
if it comes down to it you know you can always parent to the head of genesis and scale to fit how you need it
I just bought it last month in march madness. works okay on gen 2 male. (quick render).
Manual placement and parenting are necessary.
EDIT: I'm unaware of a version for modern figures, but this would be a great idea. Probably could use more detail.
Wonder how hard it'd be to do that in LAMH. Hmm.
Not that this option works all that great but for some hair if you convert it to a figure and autofit it it works sometimes, some hairs don't work very well though
Today's newly released Jake Hair looks quite similar to wedge cut, though it doesn't appear to have the loose strands at the front.
If great minds think alike, you might be in trouble, since I have pretty much the opposite of a great mind and I had a very similar thought :)
I had completely forgotten about the Wedge hairstyle, but I actually kind of like it in concept, a sort of a split-down-the-middle messy surfer hairstyle.
Popped into Carrara and first put in an M3, then loaded the original Wedge, then popped in a low-poly head-shaped object and messed around for a bit modeling a kinda-sorta similar hairstyle. I can't say it's identical, in fact it looks a bit different, but I'm liking it so far. I think it resembles Jaime Lannister's hairstyle before he was captured, and I think it's pretty useable as is, though I might do a bit more refining.
This hairstyle is useable on any figure, M3/M4/Genesis1/Genesis2/whatever, and if anyone's interested I'll put it up on Sharecg for free use. First Render simply shows what Wedge hair looks like on an M3 so the original can be compared, the next 2 are renders of my own creation. It's not at all identical, but I do still like it.
Thought I would put up an animation, using some slight wind forces. I don't have a lock on the absolute best parameters for a shorter hair like this to react to gravity/wind, but it actually shows the style a bit better I think.
Also... M3 has a really strange default head shape, seems very stretched out and elongated. But again, this hair can be used with any figure, as it's not really growing out of the M3 mesh, but instead was attached to a low poly head-shaped envelope that's invisible. So M3's weird looks don't have to be a limiting factor.
Your version looks pretty darn good Jon. A much better hair line than the original wedge.
Definitely agree. Very nice work.
If you do put it up I would like it.
Charlie
Thanks Vhardamis and Charlie Judge, I appreciate the nice feedback.
I'll try to carve out some time over the weekend to put it up on Sharecg for anyone interested.
Just popping in to say that I always liked the Wedge Cut, so any free style similar to it -- as well as free hair in general -- would be greatly appreciated. Is this going to be an LAMH preset, a hair prop, or a conforming item?
