I just bought udane hair and tried it on the Genesis 2 female. It doesn't fit when it's in editing view but does when it's rendered. Do I need Victoria6?

That isn't a failure to fit, it's just the way the viewport shows transparency mapped surfaces. If you need a better idea of how it will fit you can try removing the maps from Opacity (and then reapply the materials before rendering) or you can use the Aux Viewport and run the IPR to get a constantly updated preview render.

I had same exact issue with Amarseda hair V4. Richard is correct, I was told to remove map from opacity. But, still didn't work for me, I had to submit a support ticket.

Thanks. Using Aux Viewport works great. But how do I remove the map from the opacity channel? I'm looking in Surfaces and adjusting opacity strength helps somewhat, but I don't see a map just for opacity. There are sliders for map tiling u and map tiling v but they don't change anything.

There should be a little square icon to the left of the Opacity slider - when you hover over it a preview of the image will pop-up. Click the little square and from the menu select None.
