Annoying banner add-on

If I'm just browsing / playing this has started appearing on my banner.. Does anybody else get it?
It is annoying. I am capable of deciding if I want anything and if so what it is. I do not ever want random selections. How can I turn it off?
I already have popups blocked in my browser but I'm getting this anyway.

Something tells me it will softly and silently vanish away at midnight (or possibly noon if they are being strict) DAZ time.
It's Clippy!
Y'all got that too? It's at least as good as last year's freebie of the Emperor's New Clothes!
Yeh, OK. They got me. I thought they had made a serious marketing ploy.
unflate-able ponies?
...yes but it actually does put an item in the cart that doesn't go away (or become free) when you proceed to the Place Order page.
Item it gave me cost 25$.
I had him, made a screeny and away he went!
There here too. See post 42 of this thread:

Would have been OK if it reduced the price to FREE
But no such luck.
There he is! I think he should stay...
I love how he is posing in front of the DAZ office lol
...gives me bad memories of MS Office. At least there it was just annoying (and you could turn it off), and didn't involve buying something.
I think for all the annoyance factor, anything it puts in the cart should be a freebie on Daz's tab. (would be nice if it put Filter Forge in the cart then).
Oh yes, or a bundle of sorts!
...even abase Gen 6 figure I don't have yet like Gia or Brodie.
So glad it's not just me - was afraid my PC had caught a nasty virus!
Gia was free yesterday. Oh wait, you had to buy a bunch of other stuff to get it.
...yeah,and only found one new item that interested me which was a DO so I could use my march PC Coupon before it expired. Sadly, new PC items don't qualify as discount triggers.
Counting the hours until it's GONE.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
Yeah, good (bad?) to hear I'm not the only one. I mistook it for adware and ran a scan which didn't fix it. Let's see what Adblock and Block Element can do.
...have Adblock + and it still is there. Maybe Noscript might work.
Update: Adblock Edge broke the site, but Block Element got rid of it completely as far as I can tell.
Take THAT, Clippy!
And yes, it's Javascript-based. However, Noscript would probably break the site. Looking at the blockable items, I see a lot of Json and Js files.
...bugger tired to hide the element and just broke the store page.
Had to disable Adblock to get things working again.
Clippy: Almost as popular as Bob.
opal42987, that is an awful lot of work to rid yourself of a April fools prank.
No, it's not. The adblock part actually took longer than the Block Element part.
These are the two things you want:

It's an April Fool's joke? That is a very disruptive and self-destructive April Fool's joke.
...agreed, and now I cannot view the store with Adblock turned on as I don't know how to reverse what I did.
Well I laughed when I saw it then ignored it for the rest of the day.
We entertained ourselves for a while seeing just what random items were added to our carts. It obviously wasn't based on our normal buying tendencies.
...would have been a nice gesture though if whatever showed up was a one time freebie and once you placed the order, Clippy no longer appeared.
