Grainy Render
Hi, all of my Iray Renders are looking very grainy. You can really see it on the skin. I have rendered in Iray before and have never had this problem until today.
What would be causing this?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Is the render using CPU or GPU? Which version of daz Studio, and which driver version and card (assumign you have an nVidia GPU)?
Given the picture I would guess that you are using progressive rendering with the default settings, which terminate the render at "95% convergence". My understanding is that 95% convergence just means that 95/100 of all the pixels in the image have reached their final value. So when you render a large image with nothing in it you start of with a very high initial convergence.
I suggest just setting the "convergence" to 100% to see what happens. If it takes a long time (well, too long by your definition; my renders start at 8 hours), if it takes a long time reduce the "render quality" from 1.0 to 0.1 and tweak it up as required for the quality you want.
