G9 footware compatibility with G8

I'd like to know if footware intended for G9 will fit basic G8-G8.1 basic character without deformation?

I'm not interrested to move to G9 yet.

    No, items made for G9 won't work on earlier figures.

    You could try making a clone for autofit, but footwear is notorious for not converting well automatically.
