Anyone know what they have been up to? I am eagerly waiting for the next dforce hair product from this person... I love each one that they have released so far. The dforce romantic hair is always my go-to hair when rendering a new character for the first time. It looks so good!
I refresh the store every day, hoping to see a new hair from Linday in the store.
It would be a very sad day if Linday stopped selling dforce hairs

Well they had a sizeable clothing bundle released only 15 days ago. I know that's not hair, but give them a chance!
yeah, genesis 9 specific dforce hair is what I am waiting for before I jump on the G8 bandwagon. I almost always use dforce hair with g8 and 8.1, so in order to get any use out of G9 I need some hair.
The G8F dForce hairs work pretty well on G9 either with autofit or manual fit and parenting, as being dForce thare are no added bones.
I'm hoping for some action girl gear from Linday. I don't have much use for coquette wear.

Dearly hope G8 will still be supported by Linday's hair. Not sure why no-one else makes dF-cloth based hair. Wish OOT and April or others would make some too. Riversofts df2morph alone makes clothbased df hair a winner over SBH for me. Also other issues, but thats another thread. Do worry that conversion (G9>G8) to use linday's hair may become an issue.
Pretty sure i own every Linday Hair. Buy at product launch and will continue to do so - but only G8. No-where ready for next gen.

I have a friend that is fully into G9, so I have been following his trials and seeing what works and doesn't. Ideally he wasn't having good luck with autofitting cloth based dforce hair (and parenting took to long and has issues also), but he said the Sickleyield templates helped big time since there is a long hair template option
I've had good luck with the cloth dForce G8 hair from Linday I've tried with G9 just using "none" as the autofit type. If it uses hierarchical materials presets then there might be a bit of hoop jumping to change the colors (see the work around here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/598796/hierarchical-materials-presets-and-g9), but otherwise the hair I have works just as well on G9 as they do on G8 (I only have Romantic Curly Hair and Classic Long Curly Hair).

Bought 1 from each. Will try. Looks like they can deform in critical ways more than Lindays. But they don't look as "fine". Will see what i can do lol.
Will be interesting to see what is possible for dF-cloth-hair from G9-G8 (my interest) and G8-G9 (all those who want to continue to enjoy). Maybe Linday keeps making for both?

LOL!!! Thanks, I was so focused on the hair, that I didn't even notice the sweater issues - other than the collar which I just dismissed as being from her head being turned too far

Evidently, the sweater loads at subdiv 1, I increased it to 4, increased smoothing, and below is the result. Looks much better!
You may be too fast ;) FSMCdesigns already said same just above, and i bought one of them already.
That was subD 1?? Holy @#. She looks perfect now! Yeah that hair can be kinda distracting lol.
You can use Classic Long Hair, Classic Long Wavy Hair and possibly more (I tried with those two) on Genesis 9 without issues as they don't have a skullcap.
and the opposite? G9 hair in G8? Did you tried it?
You have to make the G9 clones first (instructions in Freebies thread) and then they should work, though you'll have the same issues with hair with bones because of autofit. dForce strand hair may be a problem.
