How to access newly installed packages?

If I'm in the editor and install a new package, the editor does not see the package but if I log out of the editor and start it up again, it sees the package. Is there a way to force the editor to see the new install without having to log out and restart the editor?

    Editor?

  • Yes, that is what I said. When I am already in the editor and install a new package, I don't see that package unless I first exit the editor and go back into it again.

  • Editor isn't a standard term and we don't know what you mean by it.

The tool where we pose the characters and set up the scenes. This thing here

That attachment will probably get deleted soon so for anyone who comes in later it is showing Daz Studio with the Content Library, Viewport and Parameters tabs.

If I am understanding what the OP means, that they are not seeing the newly installed Product in the Content Library, then the solution is to right click and select refresh.

    Right click on what?

Well, it looks like you are using the Products section of the Content Library so right click on that and there will be a popup menu with Refresh at the bottom.

EDIT: Right-clicking almost anywhere in the Product tab offers a refresh option. Not sure if the Refresh options are all running the same function or context-sensitive to the thing that is clicked so right-clciking on the thing you want to update seems the most logical.
