Pocket the Horse rainbow horn material

This is the coolest horse! Kudos to the PA!
But how do I change the horn material?
I have tried applying the rainbow material to the horn, and then when that didn't work, changing the surface material, which did not work either.
Scratching my head on this one.

I got it to work. Sorry for the thread.
Apparently my double-click is a bit slow on the draw on Windows than it needs to be. So frustrating at times!
I have tried adjusting the double-click mouse speed on Windows and it still messes with me. Ugh!
