Survey is closed. My voice doesn't matter.

I thought the survey was too narrow. There were many questions which allowed only one possible answer and did not include the answer I wanted to give, not even "other". Also, the survey ignored isues of quality, support and prices, which strongly affect my buying decisions. The survey seemed to be written as if my buying decisions were only affected by popularity, availability, utility or personal taste.

  • OK, asked about this.

  • Sometimes it seams to me as Daz goes out if their way to make us disspointed in them, exemples: no autofit clone G9 to G8, not impossible to make as I made one using a tutorial, why Daz couldn't provide us w one or even sell one?? the NFT crap, sorry, just hate it, many of us said in the last survey that we hate their promotion of it, but they continued w it, now a survey that reaches it's limit the first day. Then open it again, but only for a few, not for everyone, my conclusion? I don't matter to them despite devoting my life, work 24/7, on my Lara Croft fanart using Daz studio, standing by them through all the store bugs, the nft promotion ect. This is how they thank me. By saying through this, that my voice doesn't matter. I applogize for this, mean no offense, I have just been disspointed in them for a very long time and this is just another thing to add to it. Sorry. Still a Dazholic as I love the stuff sold here and the yearly sales. But very disspointed, not just about this. This will most likely be deleted, but I needed to say my peace. Sorry.

  • The link worked when tested by Daz, please try a differnt browser, or a private window, and see if it works then.

Daz has never provided backward AutoFits, that has always been done by PAs as add-ons.

the NFT [stuff], sorry, just hate it, many of us said in the last survey that we hate their promotion of it, but they continued w it, now a survey that reaches it's limit the first day. Then open it again, but only for a few, not for everyone, my conclusion?

    It should now be unlimited.

Thanks for the reply, tried and now it works. I think Daz should be the one providing stuff to make our old stuff work for G9 and the new stuff work for older generations, both ways.

  • Just filled in the survey, glad they made it work again, both for the store credit and for allowing me to have a voice in this, wish they would have had a space for saying: more of this, less of this, as in store policy, how things are done ect. But at least I could have a voice in this survey. They had it last time, but I guess we were too honest? lol.

    Not getting the email sad

  • I wish there had been a place to say that I primarily remember to shop here because of the emails from DAZ Deals. They don't get enough credit, IMO.

  • I can confirm that the survey has been re-opened and is open still (at the time I am posting this).

I saw it late last night, but thought I could wait till today. Forgot about it till I saw this thread. Thanks to everyone who raised the issue of it being closed. I had no issue just now finishing the survey.

But, remember to add your email used with DAZ so you can get your $5.00 doing it. The last survey folks forgot and still missed out.

  • My opinions have been read and removed due to TOS

  • Good thing for me they reopened it. I did the survey earlier today and after a few questions took me to a page to put in my email, like Daz surveys usually ask, so they can issue the credit - but was actually to sign up to the survey site. Then the page immediately switched to Survey Closed message.

I didn't realize until I saw this thread what actually happened was the survey was closed right after I started. So I dug out the thread and retook it. Got my email address included for the credit. Also keeping email and a screenshot of that part of the survey. Because.

  • The survey worked for me. As many have noted above, the choices are limited and there is no room for our own thoughts to be added ... typical for these surveys.

Interestingly, this is about the 4th time I have gotten to take a Daz survey. I think my ratings of the store have dipped down in general ... maybe in part because my own skills are growing, but, perhaps more importantly for a survey like this, I think the variety of themes in the new products has dropped drastically. It probably will not take long to have G9 outfits for pirates, fairies, and lingerie (oops that was really fast).

I know that individual PA's have to deal with what sells for them ... but for the Daz Store overall, a wider variety of items would probably bring in a wider audience.

The survey worked for me, which it did not before, so at least now I can update my previous comment and say it appears my voice does matter.

It's only multiple choice, rather than allowing users comments, which I guess means they have little appetite to hear the various greviences of the people here. Can't say I blame them for that!

My sister got the survey but I didn't.  Was it only one survey per household this year??  I got one last year and buy a lot of things here.  Oh well.

If they had enough replies to stop so quickly, and are now getting a lot more, then a free-form questionnaire would probably not be useful, or even remotely manageable.

God help them if they ever want our honest unfiltered feedback though. They probably know just how unpopular some of their decisions are and just don't wanna read it in mass quanitites.

Wading through thousands of free-form responses is a good task for an intern that has much too little to do.  Or a good "project" for a deadwood executive--but I'm not sure Daz/Tafi is a big enough company to have someone who draws significant salary who needs to be assigned busywork.

Realistically, management is going to want a survey that produces readily quantifiable responses for a brief summary report.  If they wanted my lengthy diatribes, no survey was necessary.  They could just read my forum posts.

This survey was an improvement from the last one.  The questions struck me as more useful and germane.   I'm glad to have a little store credit after getting two Halloween freebies.

Let's not forget that DAZ as a company has been around for over twenty years, and they've probably figured out that it's not cost-effective to attempt to market products that don't sell well enough in one generation in a second.

You can always stop by the DAZ3D official Twitter feed as well.

I'm sure they would love the feedback and the traffic.

I skip 9 out of 10 surveys before finishing them for the same reasons, paid or not.  I did the same with the previous DAZ survey, so didn't care to bother with this one either.

  • I did the 'Your voice matters' survey and I did put in my email but have not received the $5 credit today. Just checking to see if anyone received the credit. I did it the same day I got the email. Maybe the limit was reached and I was too late.

It's still very early in Dazland, give it time.

They sometimes run the script (or whatever they call it) when they come into the office in the morning to send out all that type of stuff, but not sure how they had this one set up. If you don't have it by mid day Daz time let us know here.

Thanks. This is not to stir anything up but I just want to mention an experience I had. Recently I received the $10 thank you credit but never got to use it since it was taken away the next day even though I did not see any expiration date on the $10 credit. I had my items in the cart and went to check ou the next day and the credit was gone.

I think they have just gone to work in Dazland.
