The only daily update to Fastgrab is it's icon on main page.

    Greetings,
Yeah, FastGrab doesn't really change much during the 'big sales'. It's hard to focus on a few 70% off items, when there's a ton of other stuff that's 68.5% off. :)

How do you get 68.5% off, PC member?

Aggressive stacking of discounts and coupons, including the PC discount.

...really a but frustrating as before the current selection, there was something that caught my interest. Given FG's track record of not changing for days (sometimes weeks) I felt safe waiting as I was to collect a bit of cash the next day. Got home later that day and *poof*, everything had changed to what we have now (one item I already have and none of the others which interest me). Of course as now there is nothing I care to purchase, FG has "stalled out" again.

Haven't picked up anything during MM so far either as usually Stonemason is one of the first PA's featured, and am hoping the long awaited Urban Sprawl 3 will be his MM new release.

I agree. If Daz cares about their customers and members and of course I for sure know they do, then shouldn't "updates daily" mean "UPDATES DAIYLY? Lol

And the only items that ever go quick in the "Fastgrab" is the really good items. Daz makes sure they are totally out of there first, less they loose to much money on a great sale for "Fastgrabbers" that may not have seen the sale while they were at work that day.

And agreed, most of the items seem to be useless or somewhat unwanted. Not all, but most.

I also miss the Daz sales of (2013). It was so unbelievable that for me, it was an addiction and compulsion to purchase.

Yet, thanks to Daz of late, they broke my addiction and compulsion to purchase every time I had money to spend, because the sales are nothing of the kind now and even new clothing and other items are way over priced. I am thankful the addiction is gone. I'm able to put money in the bank now, lol.

It was in 2013 that I was able to get so, so many "REALLY GOOD" items for around 60%, 70% and 80%. I was able to build up my 3D library so quickly and it felt like I was truly getting a good deal and real use out of DS.

    2013 WAS AN AWESOME YEAR!!!

I also must have recently missed the funeral of the last new "Platinum Cub Plus" items ever being $1.99 ever again. Unless Daz is going to announced their "Once In A Blue Moon' sale. Lol

It was such a blast ever paycheck! Daz made it so, so fun in the past. Because when I couldn't get the big dollar things that paycheck, I knew for sure there would always be some really well designed $1.99 items to purchase I could count on being there every time.

Daz was so worth bragging about to friends.

Daz in those days, with all of these discounts, made me feel like I was really getting away with something. It's not like they didn't know how good the sales were in 2013. But they so made me feel like they understood times are hard, made it easy to get things and way too much fun to come shopping with them.

Even the free Christmas items in 2013 were so worth getting excited for, but for Christmas 2014, I don't know what happened.

Also, didn't we use to be able to use our monthly Platinum Club coupons on the Platinum Plus items? Wouldn't that be an extra plus to Daz, if we could use them in that way?

I would think Daz would carefully look back over the years to see how customers and members purchased alike. And I'm sure Daz has done just that.

I'm also sure Daz team that I don't understand the half of what's going on behind the scenes. I still love you guys anyway, even if I am wrong about some of what I've seen.

I just simply wanted to say how I felt about things and sales and even products to me were far better and fun to be purchasing two years ago compared to now.

...for me 2013 was a terrible year as that was when I was laid off from my job. the first half of 2014 wasn't any better. The first time I participated in a sale even since didn't occur until the PC Anniversary sale last October/November when I finally had an income (albeit a meager one) again. Other than that, the only purchases I made were either Fastgrabs, Flash Sales, or PA Birthday Sales as the most "big events" involved too many gimmicks and games instead of just a simple flat percentage discount..

I totally understand about the job thing as I'm going through it once again now.

But 2013 was a really great year for sales on everything with Daz and especially at the end of December that year. Almost every item was at a sale price for at least a day somewhere in December for around 70% to 90% off. It was crazy.

But even through out that year, there would be these 4 hour sales, which would actually go on the whole day with items at I think 58% or way more. It was nuts. And super addictive and so so fun!

They would be really good items too. Big names and big items as well.

While is does seem rather ridiculous for Daz to put forth the effort to change the Fast Grab promo pictures regularly but not change the wording accompanying the picture that says, "Updates Daily" when it does not update daily, it's trivial (to me) in the grand scheme of things.

Less than 2 months ago, Daz put all Genesis items on sale at 70% off. Not just Daz Originals, but PA items too. That's like all Genesis items on Fast Grab. That Fast Grab fix will last me til the end of the year. Thanks Daz.

    Greetings,
Just to note,.. 68.5% off DAZ Originals is 30% PC+, 50% March Madness, 10% Darius/Monique Pro Bundles. No coupons or other discounts.

Even without the D/M Pro Bundles, it's 65% off, which comes close enough to the 70% off that it's hard to care that Fast Grab's not being cycled during the sale.

...well these days I rarely am interested in the pro bundles as they tend to include a fair number of items I'd rarely if ever use, like a lot of skimp and fantasy wear and character morphs (I have more than enough morphing resource kits). What I usually do is purchase a base figure and then build my own bundle with the items I would use (usually hair and poses and maybe one of the clothing sets)

Totally agreed - apart from the thing you said about this year's Christmas PAs. The gifts were great even though you really had to hunt for them.

Oh yes. These were real steals. The thrill of visiting FG somehow diminished during the last months, don't you all think? Besides, great renders.

Obviously for you, but I stopped being in the PC years ago and have never been interested in bundles or the need to purchase something expensive to get a deal on something else, I have yet to get anything during MM as there haven't been any new things I could really use and none of the vendors I have wishlisted have gone on sale, so I would love to see the fastgrab updated during the MM sale since i check it regularly.

I never check FastGrab any more because I can't get to it. The horizontal scroll at the top of the store page never goes that far. It stalls out on the link previous and refuses to shift farther.

So far as I am concerned, there is no longer any FastGrab.

If you bookmark the following page, you should have a means to access fast grab:

Not that this solves the fact that it very rarely changes.

I used one of my Platinum Club coupons - the $6 off a $18 purchase one - on nothing but PC+ items yesterday.

I fast grabbed Giselle 6 and now I´m checking Fast Grabs every day, curious what the next ones are gonna be but you are right, they haven´t changed in a while, except that Michael 6 Pro Bundle is no longer at 70% off.

They should change more regularly! : )

My problem with fast grab is the inconsistency in time on sale. Some things stay on the page for a many days even a week plus. Last week's items were there maybe 48 hours. Oh well, just call it another lost sale For DAZ.

BTW, usually the items are pretty decent, tho sometimes older items. For me they are items I didn't quite want at time of launch, but when they get to FG the price is right or I have need.

You are totally right. I see older items I wanted badly are being released as freebies or put to FG. That's an obvious incentive to me.

In the same boat. I had put one FG item in on Friday night but left it until early the next day to get it. I went straight to shopping cart and found it back at the original price. Then checked the fast grab and found different stuff. Most of which I had. Also I checked today and there are no items at all. And before anyone says they changed at midnight, DAZ's midnight is my 4pm (or 5pm, daylight savings) next day (QLD AU, we don't have daylight savings).

As far as I heard they stopped FG for this weekend because sooo many artists are in the catchup sale.
If you are a PA and happen to have a product at 70% off in FG you don't want people to buy two products and get even half price of those 70% ...
    Somehow understandable, me thinks.
