Backwards Compatibility of Genesis 9

I haven't really been able to track down the information about the compatibility.

 

Will Genesis 9 be compatible with (some of) the genesis 8 assest?

 

Or will they have to be reworked to work with the genesis 9 model?

 

So basically, will I be able to use some of the items I have for genesis 8 with the new genesis 9 model?

    Moved to the Commons as it is not a Daz Studio topic, closed as there are already at least two main threads on Genesis 9.

    Genesis 9 is not directly compatible with any feature of Genesis 8 - though I suspect expressions may work to an extent in some cases as both can use the the FACS system. There will be an AutoFit clone for at least Genesis 8 Male and Female, and we know of at least two pose-converters in the works from Jay's video. I think Cayman Studios posted to say they are working on one of their tools to use textures.
