Because there will be new bug reports usually just after releasing bug fixes, I decided to announce that I'm working on bug-fixes before the release this time. So, if you are aware of any bugs or feature improvements for any of my software available at the DAZ store, please post it in this thread or send me a mail. Also, please use this thread for bug reports and feature requests only. If you need any other customer support, send me a mail.
===============================
The following changes are planned or already implemented, but not yet released.
Genesis Generation X2:
- some compressed DSON files can't be read
- support for multiple content libraries for loading / creating morphs
- special shape presets for the V4 and M4 morphs for Genesis 2 by slosh and MallenLane
DSF Toolbox
- files may not load if there is no space between a number and the following closing bracket
DSON Editor:
- files may not load if there is no space between a number and the following closing bracket
- "reset selection" and "apply to parent" are missing in search menu for some search types
File Reference Editor:
- files may not load if there is no space between a number and the following closing bracket
Content Gatherer:
- files may not load if there is no space between a number and the following closing bracket
Morph Organizer:
- color changes are ignored in edit dialog, if type isn't changed as well
- remember custom colors in color dialog
Runtime Statistics
- added HD morphs

If you're considering updating Content Folder Twins, I have a few features I would love:
1) when choosing search locations, you have 6 options:
Complete
Runtime
Runtime/Geometries
Runtime/Libraries
Runtime/Textures
Data
It would be helpful to have two other options:
Runtime except Geometries-Libraries-Textures
Everything except Runtime and Data
2) a more substantial feature, ability to specify a priority for each content folder, and a button to delete all duplicates except the highest-priority one.
Looks reasonable and not difficult to implement, so it's on my list for improvements now.
Wonderful, thank you!
Psst! Any chance on seeing an update for 2nd Skin 2 to something a bit more DS/Genesis/G2F friendly?
I have 2nd Skin for Genesis (or TriAx figures in general) on my list of ideas. But I doubt it's worth the effort.
It already can be done rather quickly in DS without any tools:
1. Load a second Genesis.
2. Copy/paste the pose/morphs from the original Genesis to the second Genesis. (Conforming won't work in some cases.)
3. Use some small displacement for a white image map in the materials of the second Genesis.
4. Turn off shadows for the second Genesis. (No idea how this is done in DS.)
That's it. Now the second Genesis will behave like a second skin figure. All you still have to do is to change the material to be an overlay.
While it's also not difficult to do overlays with LIE or in the shader mixer, this method has the advantage that you can use a different UV-mapping for the original figure and the overlay. And you may have a visible distance and shadows in case you want to.
HD morphs is excellent news as many for G2F I want to use on genesis to do male versions etc
Even easier, create a Geometry Shell with a Push Modifier, then you don't have to worry about doubling the geometry.
wendy♥catz: The new HD feature is listed for Runtime Statistics, not GenX. AFAIK, the file format for HD morphs isn't public, so I can't support transfer of HD morphs (besides between Genesis 2 male/female) at the moment.
fixmypcmike: I wasn't aware of the Geometry Shell feature. This is exactly what 2nd Skin is doing, extruding the mesh points along the normals. So, 2nd Skin for TriAx figures really would be pointless, it's already a built-in feature of DS. (I should be honoured, they are stealing my ideas ;) )
Pity about that as is DAZ not allowing everyone to create HD morphs too as many have said.
Thanks for the updates! The new Content Folder Twins features work perfectly.
All updates for my tools (but not yet GenX) are live now.
