Nostalgia - using Daz 2.3
Hi, I recently found an old pc with DAZ 2.3 on from years ago. I transferred it to a laptop but there were some issues.
Amazingly I wrote the registration number somewhere. Not surprisingly this was not accepted by DAZ but the program remained semi functional.
To illustrate - the preview section features a rather translucent character. ( picture 1 ) It is weirdly invert also
Once rendered everything is ok ( pic 2 )
Any idea if the pre-render can be set with visible skin for the face?

That usually indicates that there is a transparency map on the surface, the OpenGL mode has never been able to handle the Z-ordering of transparent surfaces even when the area in question should be opaque.
Is there a work around?
Other than removing the transparency (and remembering to put it back before rendering) no, I'm afraid not.
