Battle Boar by The Antfarm: Battle Boar Push Pole - how is that thing supposed to be used???

Got me the Battle Boar by The Antfarm today, which comes with a riding pose for G8F and two props called "Battle Boar Push Pole" in a left/right version, with poses for the left and the right hand.  They look that prolonged hook-ish wooden poles, with slight bends in different directions.

The positions they load in (when loading while G8F is selected to parent them to her) somehow don't make any sense to me. I think (!) they might be supposed to be stuck into the boar's trunk to motivate it to change direction, but somehow I don't seem to be able to position that would allow this to happen.

So..

Anybody here who has that product and got those push poles working?

Would love to know the same, quite baffling!

  • The poles seem to load grossly over-sized - far too big, at 100%, for the figure to grip them.

This was extremely helpful indeed, as it gave me a new perspective: the sticks, when reduced to 50-60% size, go to about the EARS of the boar, so might be thought to be used like those sticks with small hooks on the end that elefant "riders" used.

Not that I would expect a boar giving a flying eff someone tickling his ear... those buggers would probably would just shake the rider off and have them for dinner wink
