  There are a few free poses on Adam Thwaites's site. http://www.most-digital-creations.com But it's hard to link to specific freebies on that site.

  There's a package of M4 poses by ironman13 that has a "descending stairs" pose I like for both V4 and M4, among many other partial body poses: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/pin-up-master-the-m4-collection/83694

  There are some very cool (and free!) upstairs/downstairs aniBlocks for M4/V4 included in ANYMATTER's animated pose collection on shareCG:
