Getting Problem Loading Page when I try to download

When I try to select the DIM from my Product Library page to download a product, I get the following message:

File not found

Firefox can't find the file at daz3dim://download/462d2cfbb38e3de335557b09e8eb99a5/product_id/3381,17318.

Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

Is there a problem with the download address, or is this something about FireFox?

Any suggestions to fix this?

Yes. Do not use the download helper or right-click options. Left-click on the button and then look for the DIM manager. Might have to sign in. Mine cannot sign in I gather because I did not update it and the older editions will not log into our accounts to download anything. So I now download everything manually.

There are no "right click" options showing, and when I hit the left click I get this message page.

I'm clicking on the green "Download & Install" button.

    Edit:
The page URL showing is "daz3dim://download/462d2cfbb38e3de335557b09e8eb99a5/product_id/3381"

? FF always has right-click options ... oh, unless maybe you have the script inhibited. The no-script add-on has to allow Daz3d to run whatever it wants to in order for those pages to work correctly.

Do you have the most recent DIM installed? Might be time to download a new installer and update it. All clicking on the Download & install button does is to run DIM for you. You could simply run DIM from your computer and see if it'll work that way.

Right - the FF clicks did show...didn't use them.

I just used the DIM last night, it should have told me it needed an update.

I'll download the new one and install and see if that helps...

I just tried this now too ... even though I've agreed to the new agreement, DIM needed it agreed to as well.

    Yeah, got that as well.

I downloaded and installed the newest version - still doesn't work from the product library page...

Well, not the largest item on my "problems with DAZ" list - I'll just stick to using the DIM from my PC for now...this was just one of those "That's weird!" irritations..and it's Saturday evening...

    That's for the help.

Are you having this problem with everything, or just that product?

    So far, just this product.

I have also had - three times now - the entire screen go black partway through the DIM download and installs of products. Once I was able to hit Enter several times and it came back up to the DIM screen - with one product marked "Download failed"...I can't say for sure it was the DIM -I did have Thunderbird and Firefox running, but was not on any "questionable" web sites. It may well be related to a problem I have had in FF where I get a note that some script has stopped working...but the black screen is new, and only with DIM...

On the last try, everything downloaded, but a large number of the products - all non-Daz related - failed to install because when I looked in the settings wheel, the paths for everything except the DAZ Studio products were missing...

I just uninstalled DIM - again - and deleted both the downloads and installs so I have a clean setup, shut down, and restarted, and am going to try to install DIM once more, using the new account name, and checking all of the paths first.

Can someone publish the default product install paths - that would be useful if I have to punch them all by hand...

    Edit:
OK, the install ran, I opened DIM and corrected the path for the downloads and My DAZ Library.

The other software paths still don't show.

I tried the Restore Defaults shortcut in the DIN+M folder, didn't seem to change anything.

There has to be an ini type file somewhere that the install uses to install the settings, and it seems to survive the uninstall - so where is it and what is it's name? If I could remove that I should then be able to do a full clean install with all the default settings for paths...
