Google has dropped the $399.00 US price on Google Earth Pro to "you need an email but it's free"

if this was posted before my apologies, I didn't see it when I searched.

well I grabbed it but it seems to have less options than normal Google Earth all greyed out, unless I need to sign into Google to get them, AFAIK I am signed in
but no export image etc
there is an image export because I used it but I didn't find it right away either. Im AFAIK for that machine and I don't remember where I did find it when I was RIFOTK
I didn't see grayed out features either, but I signed in with the user/pass they gave me.
The key assignment page appears to be having technical difficulties ... short-lived moment of happiness, oh well.
https://geoauth.google.com/gev0/free_trial.html
Go here 1st and fill that stuff....they will send you a key/serial number
http://www.google.com/earth/download/gep/agree.html
Then go here and "agree" (check or uncheck anything you don't want) and
Download Google Earth Pro for PC (Latest version - 7.1)
Warning: You can get lost on that thing for hours - especially if you bring up the Moon and Mars....
It's just a trial?
It's a trial, but since they are now giving you a license key for free, then you have free access to it without a time limit.
Like TheWheelMan said and it all works for me and they ain't taking it back.... I wanted to play with my Bryce but then I downloaded that thing and got lost in it til 4am. Everything works.
Thanks! Woohoo!
That was the problem, the server was having technical issues and I kept receiving their website error pages. It was not accepting anything and was not sending out emails.
Will try again ...
YES! It's working now. Thank you to the OP for bringing this to our attention. 'tis the safe to travel lol ...
yes for me too
missed that fine print lol ... :-) [but it was FUN!]
