How do i save a completed render to my hard drive? note my two main rendering engines are corona and octane---not necessarily at the same time.

    Are you rendering your viewport, or to the picture viewer?

    If you render to the picture viewer (shift+R), you get all your save options. That's also the only way to render an animation, for future reference.
