Why is my search function reduced

Ive always Had trouble finding stuff in DAZ studio but after upgrading to 4.7 things were a little easier typing what I wanted made a search with a progress bar and generally found things.Unfortunately I changed a few things (very foolish of me I know ) so now the search is much reduced .In the example I typed reptilian I used to get loads of stuff come up including all the poses now hardly anything yet if i follow the file tree I can get all the poses .I just chose this example as i do know where to find all the poses for the repilian , but the problem is the same for most things. if i say type Genesis before the search took a while and would give me about 1000 results now the search is over in a few seconds but only about 50 results .I even tried uninstalling and redown loading but its just kept all my previous changes any idea how to get it back?

    There is a drop-down next to the search box, and you can search by File (name) or Database.

    Filename will only give a list of the items which have Genesis (for example) in the filename itself, Database should give you everything.

    When I search by filename it always searches everything, I mean everything. It doesn't matter where I am in the file structure. Is there a way to limit the search to your current folder location and below?
