What are your best Genesis 8 female models for natural smile?
I know there will be no definitive answer and you can say it's up to my skills in DAZ to make a character's smile natural. But after a couple of years, I found that some figures required tons of efforts to make her smile natural, if possible at all, while others are just as easy as fiddling with a couple of morph dials. Thus, I gotta ask this. What are your best Genesis 8 female models for natural smile?

Rarestone/Nirvana's Kayla (no longer available on the store) has a good smile and a good set of teeth textures.
Bluejaunte's figures (Amira is a go-to for me) are also pretty well known for their realistic mouths and expression poses.
Akemi by dieggomasamune on renderosity comes with a great custom smile that looks good on most characters I've tried it on.
Recently bought Samantha by the same vendor. She doesn't have her own custom smile but she generally takes smiles very well.
Characters by dieggomasamune have their issues - skin is not the best, body shape is unremarkable, the morph sliders are saved in strange locations - but I think this vendor is great at making expressions and expressive faces.
(Yikes, I didn't realise that writing from a phone doesn't allow for paragraphs. Will insert them later when I'm back at my desktop.)
Quite simple: The default Genesis 8 Female, unless her smile is custom taylored for a specific character, like in case of Bluejaunte's characters.
I find that the smiles from Bluejaunte's characters work well on almost any character. I also use the Unique Smiles products a lot. They work well in small amounts and in combination with the 8.1 face dials.
As noted, Bluejaunte's characters' smiles are worth buying the characters for on their own, and they do generally transfer well. That said, there's a fundamental problem with the G8s in that human facial expresions aren't controlled by bones and as a result, the G8 facial bones really can't mimic all the subtle ways that that human face moves. That's one of the major reasons that I still prefer the more morph-centric expressions of the G3s. Beyond that, if you really want to consistantly get natural smiles when using the G8s, I've found that the best solution is to just get the best approximation and fix it in photoshop. Then again, I've found that postwork is generally the best solution for 90% of all DAZ studio/DAZ figure issues unless you're working in animation... in which case, there's a really good reason that there are now so many avenues for exporting DAZ figures to other programs that were designed from the ground up for animation.
a few characters come with custom emotions tailored to that character, always good to look for them when considering a purchace.
Assuming that you actually use characters out of the box rather than as building blocks for unique creations. Honestly, unless it's a celebrity/famous character look-a-like, I don't think that I've used one as-is since Genesis was introduced.
Thank you all for your advices and opinions. I learned a lot from your posts.
Bleujaunte characters usually have great custom smiles that work well on any character
Mind blowing, isn't it? I have never seen another website behave this way. You would think that Daz would have figured out how this internet thing works by 2022, as many people choose to browse the internet with these devices called "smartphones". Daz really should Google it on their computer sometime and discover what the fuss is about.
You have to manually type HTML to get the mobile version to work somewhat correctly. I'm not sure if this will show up correctly, but the tag is simply the letter "p" typed in brackets, "<p>". I can't remember if you need to close it with "</p>" or not, I always do out of habit when I make the mistake of using the forum on a mobile device. So you don't necessarily have to get back to your computer to fix your post.
