Reality - Object does not render properly
I'm having problems rendering the below object that I imported from Blender. There is supposed to be one material surface and I apply Metal - Gold shader but parts remain black. It renders properly in 3Delight. Thanks.

That looks like an issue with the normals. Try selecting the polygons in DS using the Geometry Edit tool and then right-click and select Geometry Editing>Flip Normals of Selected Polygons.
I have had the problem of objects failing to render and disappear. If for example, I have 4 figures the hair for 2 will be missing in the render. If I go back and rescan the scene the 2 that were missing may appear and the other 2 will not appear. Confused how this happens.
