ok.. this is a tiny bit off subject... I bought a bunch of stuff with the RAWART sale... happy birthday by the way... anyway... a bunch of the things i bought (cat world regenesis HD) have a LAMH ACTOR link...but I for the life of me can't get the hair to show up. I DO have the plug in... but not the LAMH full program... It doesn't say you NEED the full program in the specs. Am I missing something???? Please help :) Thank you.

There is a preset to load the character with the hair, or you can load it manually from the LAMH tab. From the tap you should find a LAMH file in the same folder as the character, or in the LAMH presets folder. I know DAZ likes to move the files to the actual character folder.

Thought I would add some art here

(I should add...this render took 2 whole days...really tested my patience, specially when one attempt shut down the computer and I had to start over after a day of rendering...so really 3 days)

    Beautiful shot!

I grabbed him, and was wondering if there's any way to "adjust" the lower jar and tusks? I would absolutely love to use this character with a "norrmal" bottom jaw with human teeth and no underbite.

    Either way, he's awesome!

"In the end, the time it take to render matters not; it's the end result, the render, that matters." And this one is well worth it.

I'll second all of that, nice render, and days of rendering. Considering what do I do with my time without my workstation available, lol.

No need to apologize, it's still a fantastic character. Thanks for getting back so quickly, it's appreciated.

Posted this elsewhere before I found this thread, would have posted it here first time otherwise.
Many thank-you's to RawArt for another character that was on my must have library list like greased lightning on steroids !!!!!!

(Bit of dial-spinning did take place - love those tusks)

    Happy Birthday RawArt,
It may be your birthday, but we got the presents. Thanks for the sale and great models.

I thought you might be interested in some of my first attempts with ApeWorld 2.

These are all DAZ studio renders, Is there a way to get the hair to work in Carrara?

Thank you for the generous sale, I was able to clear five items from my wishlist(and added several more to it). This was wonderful timing, I am going to be playing a werewolf character in a Champions game, and can make character portraits now.

See the animation on YouTube at http://youtu.be/42__SmSylcg

This is my first quick experiment with lip sync animation using RawArt’s Ape World 2 - Orangutan HD, Mimic Pro and Look at my Hair in DAZ Studio.

The hair is just attached to the figure, no extra animation, but it seems to fly all over the place. It kind of works for this test as it looks like wind, but it was not intentional. ;)

Anyone else have this problem and know of a workaround to get rid of this?

Here is a look at my ogre character in a totally different medium.
Have not painted with a brush in a long time, so here is an attempt I made today

Very cool; I'd say you should paint more, but that would take time away from 3D, which would go against my self-serving goals. ;-)

Well, if you're going to do it anyway, I might as well mention that I get a very Frazetta-ish vibe from it, the brushstrokes and shading in particular.
I just didn't want to encourage you...

Thanx....Frazetta is my inspiration for sure (as you can see in the digital stuff as well), but with paint...I got a LONG way to go :)
