why can't I add an LIE image on this clothing item?

So as you can see it does not give the clothing texture to work with when I go into the LIE for it (see pic) what am I doing wrong please?

    There isn't a texture applied yet. A lot of OOT's clothing is like that... It just loads the geometry and you have to apply the materials as a separate step.

    Go to the mats folder and apply some and then you'll have the texture to work with.
