I didn't exactly make the skin but I did modify it to make it work for the character...
He's been a WIP probably a year. Every so often I'll revamp him because I decide I don't like the way he looks so this is what I'm up to now.
I still have stuff to sculpt on the face but I was working on the nose mainly right now.
    Also working on the beard...
    added underwear for modesty
p.s i'm not selling/uploading this anywhere he's for my own personal use

Now all that is left is the landing gear.

Cockpit is complete, all hi-resolution fully subdividable controllers. I'm going to have to make a second version of the ship for renders where the cockpit isn't going to be featured close up that won't have all those polygon consuming buttons.

I like the work your doing on the ship and the cock pit. Nice details there!

I'm a strong believer in the principle of over modelling. Much easier to take a high resolution model and make it low rez than it is to do the opposite.

    Plus it's fun.

I dug these out recently and started working on them again.
I'm very easily distracted and move from one project to another as I get an idea for something else, get a new plugin, read at tutorial on how to do something new, smell bacon cooking or someone aims one of those laser pointers on the carpet and walls (Damn red dot... I'll catch it one day!)...
These are rendered in Twilight Render, no textures are applied, just place holder colors... wanted to see them with better lighting applied so I rendered them to stimulate more work on them (it gets boring looking at them in default)
The space vessel is a freighter... think along the lines of Firefly/Serenity... the interior will be fully detailed, the guns will move, doors open/close, the landing pads retract and deploy... its only about 60% complete on the exterior, and 50% on the interior, modeling-wise... 0% texture-wise... There is another freighter I'm working on too, which I sorta like more, because the interior layout is better and makes more sense... but I haven't rendered that...
The building (50% complete and 0% textured) is part of a larger complex... it connects to the end of the bridge seen in the picture on left side of my banner image... its part of the Caprinia Palace complex, I decided to model it in sections that could be used as separate sets... the whole thing was blocked out and roughly modeled, then individual sections selected for detailed modeling... so I know that they "connect" and make sense...
The whole idea was rather stupid because its probably WAY too big to ever complete and judging from the number of views vs actual downloads of the two sections I did finish, it probably is pretty useless or terrible.
But, anyway... thats some of my WIPs... there are tons of other stupid half completed projects, but I'll spare you all the space and lenghty descriptions of what and why.

The screens are different Atari 2600 video games, a screen cap of the model in Hexagon, and the "ENVIRON CTR PURGE" screen from Blade Runner/Alien.

Interesting design. Are the side things the rocket propulsion thingies? If so you may want to make them so the swivel from back to down... down position would be needed to land smoothly!

The one at the back is the main thruster. The ankle one is just a a maneuvering assist.

    More along the same theme.

I wonder if anyone has figured out which series I am rebooting. You'd have to be at least as old as me to get it.

Just had to comment and say what amazing work iDiru.
Your characters face is so realistic and appears very HD. I am very interested how you created this in Sculptris. Hope you post some more as your character progresses.

    Cheers :-)

This guy is made with M4, Enzo's skin, Keevan Hair, and IBL AO lighting (Office Foyer AO in Poser Pro 2014). I am still tweaking the face a bit, and haven't yet started on the body morph.

I like this Outré Limits. Such a nice face morph for the M4 Enzo character texture. Be interesting to see how your character develops.

    Cheers :-)

I forgot about this thread and I came back to see that there was asking about my WIP, so I'll post what I have done recently of this.
I stopped working on him for now. He's good enough. These are more artistic renders like it wasn't a WIP but this is what I have done.
And some side action. Idk if that's considered nsfw or not I bean it's general anatomy there's no penis.

Working on a loose and casual outfit. Because sometimes a guy just wants to lounge around in his bunny pajamas.

I've been loving clothes making in 3D Coat. I have a couple of hundred unfinished meshes I made when I was beta testing the first release of MD3 but I don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing them up now that I have 3D coat. MD3 didn't have quads then and 3D Coat lets me build a mesh that's almost entirely quads very easily.

Probably have this one finished up in a few hours then it will be up on my ShareCG page.

Nope not the Flash. Hint: It was in syndication from 1965 to 1970.

Nope not the Flash. Hint: It was in syndication from 1965 to 1970. hmm, I'll have to think about it. Definitely the right age group though. I wonder when it turned up in Australia. It used to take a while back then for things to get here...

Working on the clothing for a character I had planned to introduce to the comic before I went on hiatus. I wanted to have a sidekick character for Cosplay Girl and came up with a design for Moe Girl. There's another character I was planning to introduce as a nemesis to Cosplay girl called "Wildly Impractical Anime Cosplay Goddess" who had a ridiculously over the top complicated cosplay costume. I actually modelled her costume too when I was beta testing Marvelous Designer but it's so wildly impractical it's a complete pain in the ass to get rigged properly, so it's been put on the far far back burner.

Moe Girl is a much more simple design.
