Importing to 3DS Max breaks pose

danielastromdanielastrom Posts: 1
December 2021 in 3ds Max Discussion

So, when i import some models via DAZ -> MAX, the hair stays in original position and does now follow the exported pose, is theere a way to fix this somehow? At the moment i am working with Victoria 8.1. They hair i am using is supported by 8.1 and comes in layers. From what i can see, the layers are the parts that does not stick with the pose.

Hope i am making sense. Thanks!

Which hair? There are various ways of adjusting hair (bones, morphs, dForce) so ti would ehlp to know which is/are applicable.

Its dForce Classic Blowout Hair for Genesis 8 and 8.1.

I have used dforce within DAZ to make the hair follow the model etc, everything looks good as long as i stay within that software. But when i export, some parts of the hair seems to stay in "orginal T-pose" while the body itself gets imported in the choosen pose. So i was wondering if there is a way to "stitch" the hair to the body or simply remove all rigs and just make everything a static model before export? Thanks :)

Try exporting just the hair at base resolution, then use Edit>Figure>Morph >Loader Pro to load the shape as a morph.
