Old Genesis Character Question

I wanted to use an old Genesis-male character as a light extra, but when I posed it, and attempted to open its mouth there was no option to do that, under >mouth>mouth open.

Is that normal? Is there no way to open the G1 mouth?

    Select the Head, then you will have more options. The morphs were more localized in earlier days...
