How can I convert clothes for Hivewire 3D's Dusk into auto-fit clothes for Genesis 3 Male figure

I purchased Dusk's Loincloth from Renderosity. It says that this clothing is for a figure called Dusk Special Edition, but I would like to have this clothing to auto-fit on the Genesis 3 Male figure. How can I perform this conversion?

You would need to create a clone for Dusk so you will have an option in the autofit dialogue. I don't have the info on how though since I have never had success doing it myself for V4. You could also try exporting as an OBJ and then importing back into DS and use the transfer tool to transfer the rigging and make it a new figure.

I don't know hot to create autofit clones, but as mentioned, you could rig it. But you would need to export it first as OBJ, reshape it for Genesis 3 Male in a modeler software, import back, use Transfer Utility and then clean the weight maps. Probably also creating JCM. Another option is Dforce it, especially if the under part won't be visible.

Crossdresser 4 supports ORIGINAL Dusk, V4 and Genesis and from that point you can use autofit. I've not tried this and double conversions give me the willies, but there it is. Cross Dresser 4 is free but requires a license for the target figure. $10.

You'd have to ask about the Dusk SE

This would be your best option I think. You cannot create autofit clones without having said figures, i.e. Dusk.

You can get Dusk SE at Rendo now (instead of Hivewire) for $29.95. He also comes free with Poser Pro 11.2+, according to the Dusk SE page at Rendo.

Yeah, it would be more economical to simply purchase a loincloth for G3 though.
