dForce CB Aycroft clothing set for Genesis 8 females, round hippie glasses don't work on many G8Fs

Just bought dForce CB Aycroft clothing set by Cynder Blue for Genesis 8 females, got it mainly for the round hippie glasses that are included. Of course the glasses only work on certain genesis 8 females. On most G8F they're bent up and distorted. Is there a way to load them to stop this? Or is there an adjustment? I've tried all of the parameters adjustments already. Or is this just the way it is, they only fit certain G8F's? So far they don't work on Catriona, Babina and Josephene 8. They look right on G8F base. Half way look OK on Ensley character but there is some distortion of the frames. Clothing items work great.

If they are a wearable item like clothing is, you could try turning "fit to" to none and then using them as a prop. I'd imagine you could position them in a proper position for many characters.

  • Wow! That worked, thanks! What is going on? Is studio trying to fit them like clothes?

For some odd reason, some PAs make accessories like glasses and such into figures (fit to) instead of just props (parent)

I like making glasses a figure so that it autofollows fixed morphs built into it without too much extra work - and then making the glasses a bone so that it can be adjusted freely. I add a a rigidity map to the glasses at 100% which prevent morph distortions. And then of course its super easy to just use it as a prop as well as a figure, you just parent it to the head instead of fitting it - best of both worlds :)
