Juan Carlos 8 new pro bundle

even though it's not called  a pro bundle I'm guessing the Juan Carlos 8 Streets Of Cyberpunk Bundle is technically a Pro Bundle https://www.daz3d.com/juan-carlos-8-Streets-of-cyberpunk-bundle ; as it also contains G8M antomical elements which was only ever included in Pro Bundles. If this is or isn't a Pro Bundle it is pretty expensive evenfor those of us PC members normaly Pro Bundles are around $68 US for PC members on first release but this one with the 30% is $104.97 which is pretty expensive for us outside US edit in checkout price is $89.23 for us Aussies that is $122.23

JUAN CARLOS - ONLY MAN IN THE FUTURE

I think Juan Carlos is a great figure, but does he really need THREE bundles???

I think the quality of this last bundle is high, but for me, I already have a fleet of hover bikes. Hell, there was a hover bike in one of his OTHER bundles. Ditto the "future" haircut. Ditto the free outfit that comes if you buy the bundle today.

I might pick up the truck, even though I have a couple that look like that already.

The Sky Deep Outfit is pretty unique & I might pick that up.

Maybe a Japanese cyberpunk character would have been nice, considering how many cool cyberpunk stories were set there. Did we really need to just rehash Juan Carlos?

I wishlisted the set. I really hate not picking this up, but it is beyond repetitive at this point.

PS wouldn't have hurt to give me an orange banner!

I got an orange banner for owning Juan Carlos 8. If you own him, I would think you should too? Both of the other bundles had him included, so I think I got a credit on the second bundle for him. I know the Cyber Dystopia Bundle went down to 78% for me.

I have no issue with the idea of multiple bundles being available for the same characters. It gives me more options to choose from and the chance to get a deal if I passed on the previous bundle. It's okay to not buy everything that's released every week. There's nothing wrong with looking at an offering and saying "That's not for me." I've done it for years with most everything female related.

I never said there was something "wrong" as much as asking "could we have more variety?"

A lot of people I know are building digital "studio" with a "backlot" to create animated features. A lot easier when there is more variety.

Nothing wrong with saying "that's not for me" but there's also nothing wrong with pointing out a different way of doing things.

I didn't quote you, I don't know why you're responding as if I did. There's a whole forum section dedicated to product suggestions. This new bundle is half the price of his previous ones. It lists for $79.95. The ones before are $165.95 & $79.95. It's a good deal if you don't have Juan Carlos 8 already.

While the previous bundles were really expensive, i'm actually surprised with the value of this one. Yes, the content is very repetitive, but 45% discount (of raw value) for a small bundle is a step in the right direction.

We are still very far from Stater/Pro bundle releases. Those had much better release promotions.

  • I sure hope the future isn’t us all wearing Hammer pants!

    ????

Product suggestion area is equivalent to dropping a message in a bottle. If you have time to waste, leave a post over there. I don't know if any suggestions from there have ever been considered, much less implemented.

Happy to see you like the new Juan Carlos bundle. There are quality items in it.

    Edited to add:

I always try to respond to people who take their time to respond to me. If I'm mistaken sorry.

They seem to have changed the bundle model now that Pro/Starter bundles seem to have disappeared. The anatomical elements are in every bundle for which it's appropriate -- teens and children will still not have them, but the other name-and-number character bundles all have had them since the pro/starter dichotomy went away.

I noticed that too. I don't think I will miss Starter bundles because I can't think of a single starter bundle I ever bought. I have a few free because they were freebies.

It might simplify things a bit if instead of including the figure in the bundle and giving owners of the figure a percentage off on the bundle DAZ would just create the bundle without the figure then offer a discount on the figure itself if you buy the bundle.  Just sayin'

I agree. But bundles (in general, not just daz) tend to have things that not everyone wants. The season pass includes the HD addon because is an expensive product that helps you inflate the price knowing that a lot of people that do buy every core Base do not buy every hd addon. Reasons goes from "its too expensive" to "it does not offer much".

Back to this bundle. DAZ should had offer a proper discount to owners of Carlos; 15% not only is less in proportion for the number of items, is a LOT less in proportion to the value of said item (core figures are expensive). But discounts for aleady owning things have been chaotic, inconsistent. I had from an average one that offered same discount owning "1 or 2" of the items (if owned one was very good, if owned two it was bad), low discounts similar to this one, and no discounts at all like last week with the Flags.

August 8.1 has anatomical elements, and NONE of Thorne's previous Core Figures have included them. And there is nothing about August 8.1 that is not teenaged.
