No facial expression when export to C4D

March 2021 in Cinema 4D Discussion

Hi There!

I am so interested in the Daz product, and used Daz to C4D 1.1 to export some daz model to C4D(I tried both S22 and R23),

If I set some expression in Daz in advance and use the plugin sending to C4D, the facial expression will missing and the model is set to default expression in C4D.

do anyone know how to slove it?

Thanks!

    I hope it not only works on Daz, then the great C4D bridge is basically useless. Also the face rig doesnt work in c4d but it shows there.

    Morph Slider using Auto-IK
    1. Auto-Import Daz Character
    2. Save with Textures
    3. Auto-IK
    4. Layers tab then click on the lock on the IKM_Lock line which will unlock everything
    5. Click on the joint icon from the Objects tab
    6. Click on the Attributes tab then Animate
    7. You will see all your sliders (make sure you are on the Tag and not Basic) Hope that helped

    Just edit the Daz to Cinema 4d.dsa.

    Search for:

    // Define whether or not to show options
                var bShowOptions = false;

    set to

    // Define whether or not to show options
                var bShowOptions = true;

    (Save the dsa...obvius..)

    Now, check Animations in the dialog, or uncheck, morphs, etc... at your taste.

    :D
