Need help with the Hellenic ensemble

Hello,

I love the Hellenic ensemble (for Genesis 3 Female) but unfortunately it adapts only to a very limited number of G3 body morphs.

Does anyone know a way to fix this ?

Thanks in advance !

I think if this was updated to G8 it would sell like hotcakes its a great outfit and it has some great texture addons

I have put it on G8 but no extreme poses with dforce.

I used that one on a variety of g3f figures and never had trouble. Did you try adjusting the collision iterations?

...tried  it on one of my custom characters and also had trouble.  Also wondering why it doesn't fit correctly..

ok, I did some testing and the result is interesting,

G3f base model with the g3 version of the dress works smoothly

putting it on Dandelion (g3f as well but surely not standart sized) I get the same wierd bumps kyoto kid has in the image

increasing the smoothing iterations will reduce the bump but it takes an unusula high amount to succeed. with 20 it was smooth but still shifted oddly, with 40 it's good enough to not jump to the eye.

surprising find on the side, you can d-force this one rather nicely make the dress a dynamic and the chains a static d-force surface

trying to add the himation using d-force (I changed the dress to static before addin the himation) anded in explosion though

on a side note was dandelion always this green?

and finally adding the g3 version of the dress to g8 female resulted in pokethrough

  • Check Tool settings with the Geoemtry Editor active - I suspect there's a rigidity group on the skirts, to stop them going lumpy when the legs morph.

a kind soul made a script to remove rigid groups

possible to remove rigid groups with a ds script? - Daz 3D Forums

I reprted the problem when it was released and was told pretty much that that was how it was because it didn't support the morphs.

..so it can only be used on the base G3F, not any other G3F character as they are all basically "morphs"?  Kind of limiting it's use.

...but wouldn't it then do the same on the character's left side as well?

Is there a readily installable script to fix this?

I have that outfit for a long time.

Only used it a couple of times because of the ill-fitting on several G3 morphs.

...yeah I would for a refund but it's past the 30 day limit.

I don't use dForce much because it's taxing on my old system's resources as well as slow, and not about to try and figure out how to make it work on a non-dForce item.  This seriously needs an update to fix the issue. I don't even know why rigidity would be needed on a soft flexible cloth mesh, I have other clothing content that has morphs for leg movements and sitting poses and they don't act like this when I fit them on a heavily morphed character.
