Happy New Year :)
I wanted to say something poignant, but it took me like 27 tries to spell poignant correctly... So now all the poignancy is gone.
Seriously, it's "poig-nant"? Who made that word?... Didn't they realize how people would one day pronounce it?... You have to think of these things when you make up words... Like "prospatulant"... I just made that word up and two hundred years from now people will still pronounce it the way I intended...
Anyway, as the last few hours of this crappy stupid year tick away, I just want to say to all you fellow humans (and the handful of sentient cats and that one kangaroo who keeps posting nonsense about Carrara 9)... Happy New Year, and may 2021 not suck nearly as prospatulantly as 2020 did.
In fact, I wish you all a better than best New Year, because unless you are a really bored zombie reading random CGI forums, you survived 2020 and you deserve a break... in fact even if you are a zombie, you deserve a break after this dumpster fire at a dirty diaper factory that 2020 was.
Well... that's all... hopefully this new year will bring us all a better world, and we can all soon go back to some form of normalcy, or whatever you had in place of normalcy... and we'll be able to go around buying toilet paper when we want to and licking handrails or whatever we used to do before this crapfest of a year reared its stupid ugly head.

2020 wasn't that bad for me, still employed and haven't had covid yet, so far so good. For a few reasons the TOS won't let me mention, I don't have high hopes for 2021, but fingers crossed.

..yeah 2020 had to do one more number on me before it finally left kicking and screaming (while was screaming and cursing as well) . Long story, the short version of which was had to deal with a system security issue and spending most of the day in a help chat queue with everyone else who had our ISP provided Net security cancelled, then having to download and uninstall re-install a new one on my own. This was followed by having to chase down bugs that kept crippling my browser with timeouts on nearly every site I tried to open and then being unable to switch or close tabs, after which I gave up and reset the browser, thus deleting all my custom settings and extensions.
Not a very merry day & evening, kind of fitting exit I guess for a buggered year that is finally mercifully over.
Apparently it seems the demons have been finally expunged and everything seems to be running smoother and a bit faster now (knock on veneer covered particle board).
Hoping this next year is much better for everyone.
